DIY - MPV / SUV Internal Bike Rack

If you have car with sufficient headroom there are times when you may want to transport your bike upright. This was my preference as it means that I retain 4 seats and most of the boot space (either side of the bike).

Skoda do a very nice one specifically for the Yeti, but at £200 I thought that was a bit steep.

As a cheaper alternative I cobbled together one of my own, using a bit of spur shelving wall upright (available for £10 here or from B&Q) and a fork mount which I already had (available here for £16). For under £30 you get this.
