Bewl Water 4th September 2014

Tonight we were aiming for the record. To get round faster than ever before and if possible in under an hour.

It was every man for himself, but mainly it was keep up with Greg or get left behind.

A blistering pace was set by Bill from the start and then the lead was taken by Greg and slowing a gap appear leaving us in 2 groups. Greg offered me the lead, but I don't have the determination he has and knew I would end up dropping the pace.

In the end we made it in 59 minutes and 30 seconds, pretty good for 13 miles.
